information as possible so that well informed
delegates would be representing well informed
congregational members. The information continues to
be relevant so we have included it in this summary page.
Letter to PEC and Vice Chair of Southern Province
congregations from the Board of Christ the King Moravian
Church: Feb 18 2005
We believe this Synod is crucial
in terms of setting our church’s course and direction in the
beginning of a new century. We desire a renewal that calls
us back to our roots as true servants of the Word – a
renewal that affirms the essentials of the faith andmoves
out in bold mission in the name of Christ for the sake of a
lost world. Specifically, we are praying that the Holy
Spirit will do the following at Synod 2006:

"2006 Synod may be the most important in our
Church history, we at Friedberg have been preparing since
the summer of 2003."
